A tragic event occurred in Mooresville over the weekend when a 20-year-old woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run incident. According to WCNC, Mooresville Police Department received reports of the crash around midnight along Rocky River Road. Upon arrival, officers found the young woman, whose name has not been released, already deceased.
