
A tragic accident took the life of a 32-year-old motorcyclist on San Pasqual Valley Road. The collision occurred yesterday evening when, for reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle entered the opposing traffic lane, colliding head-on with a Chevrolet Equinox, as reported by the San Diego Police Department.
The incident, which took place near the 14500 block of San Pasqual Valley Road, has left the community shaken; the young man was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the Chevrolet, a 65-year-old male, and two passengers, reported being in pain, the San Diego PD disclosed in a statement that the identities of those involved have not yet been released. They have ruled out DUI as a contributing factor in the fatal event.
