The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking public assistance to find four individuals connected to a burglary at a Southeast business. The crime occurred yesterday morning when three suspects forcibly entered a business on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and removed an ATM. The theft was carried out with precision, as the trio loaded the ATM into a vehicle that was ready and waiting, driven by a fourth accomplice, before making their escape.
Details provided by the MPD indicate that the incident occurred at around 1:08 a.m., and evidence from the scene is being used to track down the suspects. In an effort to solicit leads from the Southeast community, the police are offering a reward. According to the MPDC's official website, a sum of up to $1,000 is available to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest, and indictment of the individuals responsible for this crime.
