New Orleans Police Department are reaching out to the community for assistance in tracking down a suspect involved in multiple burglaries and motor vehicle offenses. Joseph Cross III, identified as a Black male with a birth date of October 5, 1979, has a list of alleged crimes attached to his name, including four counts of burglary and four counts of operating a vehicle with a suspended license, as well as several court capias and outstanding warrants from other parishes, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The New Orleans Police Department believes that, in the 3400 block of Garden Oaks Drive on September 14, electronics, and various appliances were illegally removed from an apartment by Joseph Cross III. Wanted with a significant law enforcement record, the suspect's photograph has been circulated in the public domain, hoping that citizens might aid in his capture.
In their effort to bring the suspect to justice, officials have opened the floor to anyone who might have pertinent information that could lead to Cross's arrest. Sources from a New Orleans Police Department press release state, "Anyone with information regarding the crime or the whereabouts of Joseph Cross III is asked to call Fourth District detectives at 504-658-60040 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111."
