The New Orleans Police Department has issued a request for public assistance in locating a suspect involved in a serious incident earlier this month. The suspect, identified as Cleavon Stewart, is wanted on multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a firearm, illegal possession of a firearm on school property, and the unlawful disruption of the operations of a school.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, on Friday, Stewart was reported to be on the premises of a school located on the 600 block of City Park Avenue, where he allegedly threatened another individual with a firearm. Described as a black male, with a date of birth of November 4, 2004, he is considered armed and dangerous. The police warn citizens against engaging with him, instead urging them to contact law enforcement if he is spotted.
Investigators have provided a description of Stewart’s potential vehicle, a silver Infiniti sedan outfitted with black rims. A picture of Stewart has been disseminated in hopes that members of the public might assist in his apprehension. As the search continues, community safety concerns have escalated, considering the serious nature of the charges against him.
