The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a suspect wanted for an alleged theft by fraud incident. The suspect, identified as Arionne Green, a Black female born on July 1, 1992, is described as 5 feet 10 inches in height and weighing 234 pounds. The incident in question took place at approximately 7:00 p.m. on August 30, within the vicinity of the 7800 block of Means Avenue.
According to the NOPD, Green is accused of having stolen the victim's cellular phone. Subsequently, she allegedly used the device to gain unauthorized access to the victim's bank account, from which an undisclosed sum of money was taken. This information has been detailed in a bulletin released by the NOPD.
The authorities are urging anyone with knowledge regarding the Arionne Green's whereabouts to come forward. They have provided two avenues for contacting them: individuals can either reach out to the Seventh District detectives directly at 504-658-6070 or choose to remain anonymous by calling Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
