The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) has issued a call for public assistance following a business burglary. Early yesterday morning, two suspects, both described as Black males, were observed unlawfully entering a business located on the 500 block of Baronne Street, according to the NOPD.
Surveillance footage captured the suspects in the act: one was marked by long dreadlocks, tattoos on his left arm, a short beard, and dressed in long pants, while his counterpart, noticeable by a limp and clad in shorts, swiftly loaded a cash register into a white SUV. The NOPD urges anyone with potentially helpful information to promptly reach out, hoping to track not only the two visible suspects but also to identify a third accomplice believed to have driven the getaway vehicle.
Items of value, including cash and other property, were reported stolen, as per the NOPD News. The business is now struggling with the aftermath of the theft.
