A deadly encounter in Cincinnati's Winton Hills neighborhood has left one man deceased and another fighting for his life in the hospital. In the early hours today, Cincinnati police were dispatched to Craft Street following reports of gunfire around 1:15 a.m. According to FOX19, responding officers found two men with gunshot wounds. Devon Trotter, 37, was found shot dead, while a second victim, a 20-year-old male, was discovered with a gunshot injury to the leg.
The Cincinnati Fire Department arrived at the scene to promptly administer life-saving attempts. Though they endeavored to sustain life, Trotter was pronounced dead at the venue. The younger man was promptly taken by ambulance to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, bearing life-threatening injuries, as WLWT reported.
