A violent incident on the 200 block of W. Camp Wisdom Road left one man dead and two others injured last Sunday, the Dallas Police Department reported. Authorities arrived at the scene following a shooting call around 10:40 p.m. and discovered three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
In the early stages of the investigation, police have to yet publicly identify any suspects involved in the shooting. The two survivors, one man, and one woman were quickly transported to a local hospital. The woman is now listed in stable condition, while the man continues to fight for his life in critical condition. The identity of the deceased will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office, as noted by the Dallas Police Department.
As investigators comb through the evidence and piece together the circumstances that led to this tragedy, the case, documented as number 145590-2024, remains open. Dallas police now seek assistance from the public. Detective Joann Castillo, the case’s lead investigator, urges anyone with information to come forward, to possibly shed light on the events that unfolded on that fateful night.
