
A shootout in Pitcairn led to vehicles being caught in a crossfire, but no injuries were reported. According to WPXI, the incident occurred on the afternoon of Saturday when two groups allegedly exchanged gunfire on the 100 block of Brinton Avenue. Allegheny County Police Department responded to the call at approximately 2:47 p.m.
During their investigation, police found a stolen gun at the scene. Officials have charged Jameel Anger, 20, of Pitcairn, with receiving stolen property and carrying a firearm without a license. Authorities are continuing to actively work to identify all individuals involved in the incident.
The situation has led Allegheny County detectives to appeal to the public for assistance, asking anyone with information about the shootout to come forward.
