
A recent notice by the Plano Police Department has alerted the community to the actions of a suspect involved in multiple theft incidents at a local gas station. On August 2, the individual, described as a thin Black male in his 20s, standing at 6 feet tall, with hair worn in light brown/blonde "pom poms," is reported to have stolen several items from a gas station located in the 6000 block of W. Plano Pkwy. When confronted during the incident, the suspect revealed a handgun in his waistband, amplifying concerns regarding public safety, according to the Plano Texas Police Department.
Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in apprehending the suspect who routinely walks near the crime scene. The same individual is thought to quickly become a person of interest for additional thefts reported on July 27, August 9, and August 11 at the same location. There is a growing urgency within the community to address the recurrence of these thefts and to ensure the safety of area residents and businesses.
