The move, scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2024, will see the establishment take over a spacious new venue at 11340 Princeton Pike, formerly housing the Juicy Crab and, before that, a TGI Friday's.
Amidst the changes, Mi Cozumel's owners have reassured patrons with an announcement stating, "Do not worry, we will be back open in December 2024 at our new, bigger, and better location," a commitment that echoes the sense of enthusiasm for the future WLWT reported on. The relocation comes in tandem with Tri-County Mall's transition to a new purpose, requiring Mi Cozumel to adapt, the new site will boast a new food and drink menu and even offers entertainment options.

The main building stretches over 7,500 square feet, complemented by a considerable patio space of 1,800 square feet. According to an interview with Local12, the new site is "a big step up" for the chain.
