Over a year following a tragic incident in Portland, authorities have made a significant breakthrough in a homicide case that shocked the local community. Alexander E. Warren, the 35-year-old Portland man accused in the killing of Jessie Marks Sr., was apprehended last week.
According to details released by the Portland Police Bureau, Warren was caught on the 7100 block of Southeast Division Street on Thursday, August 29. In a coordinated effort that involved Portland's Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) and U.S. Marshalls, Warren was successfully detained without further incident.
Now facing serious charges, Warren has been booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center where he stands accused of Murder in the Second Degree and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
