Queen Creek is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a Founders' Day party today, Sept. 21, from 5-9 p.m. at Founders' Park, 22407 S. Ellsworth Road. The event, sponsored by Earnhardt Queen Creek Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, is free and open to everyone. Expect a day full of fun activities to honor the town's history, according to a release on the Queen Creek official website.
If you love competition, check out the Battle of the Badge, a relay race between local heroes. For $15, you can also enjoy inflatable obstacle courses and axe throwing ($5 for five throws). Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Forget about parking hassles with the free shuttle service from Central Christian Church. Limited parking is available at Founders’ Park for those who prefer to drive. For the latest event updates, visit the Town’s Facebook page at Facebook.com/QCRecreation.
Special thanks go to the event sponsors, including Earnhardt Queen Creek Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Arizona Pristine Roofing, and Banner Ironwood Medical Center. Central Christian Church is also recognized for providing shuttle service parking. The town advises that community events may lead to increased traffic, so plan for extra travel time.
