Yesterday, the Redwood City Police Department responded to a burglary at Savers, headquartered at 875 Main Street. A suspect had forcibly entered the store and seized roughly $7,500 in merchandise.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers were confronted with the aftermath of the night's activities. A broken window indicated the point of entry. Surveillance footage captured a figure rummaging through the store, stealing clothing brands and electronics that had once anchored the store's modest commercial presence. Robert Muller, a 51-year-old local resident, was identified as the masked individual behind the theft, according to the Redwood City Police Department.
Just hours after the crime was reported, officers found the suspect in a nearby encampment. In the quiet surroundings, they arrested Muller, still wearing the stolen clothes, with more items found nearby. Muller was later booked into Maguire Correctional Facility and charged with burglary, possession of stolen property, and vandalism.
