
A San Antonio man is facing charges after a woman was found deceased along a local park trail. Marco Flores, 38, was arrested in association with the death of Stacey Dramiga, whose body was found this Monday. Dramiga, 63, was discovered approximately thirty yards off the paved trail on the Salado Creek Greenway within Dafoste Park, as reported by My San Antonio.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, Flores was situated near the crime scene, and he shared information about the victim's state that had not been publicized. When deputies informed him that he would be detained for further questioning, Flores attempted to escape the site, leading to additional charges of evading arrest. Despite being apprehended, Flores withheld further details during questioning. In a statement obtained by KSAT, deputies caught and arrested Flores shortly after his attempted flight.
The circumstances of Dramiga's death are under rigorous investigation. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar has described the incident as a homicide. Dramiga's demise was confirmed as resulting from "blunt force, penetrating trauma of the head," as per the autopsy report. Details on the investigation remain limited, with additional information regarding Flores's involvement not yet disclosed by officials, according to KSAT.
The victim, Stacey Dramiga, worked at Brooke Army Medical Center, where she served as the director of the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation center.
