Last Saturday, around 8:35 PM, emergency services responded to the site of a car crash at the intersection of Alicante Drive and Linda Mar Boulevard. They located a Silver Toyota sedan that had crashed into a parked vehicle, as reported by the Pacifica Police Department.
Officers on the scene encountered 64-year-old Ulrike Ruppelt, identified as the Toyota driver, who exhibited signs of inebriation. The subsequent DUI investigation included Field Sobriety Tests, which determined she was intoxicated while behind the wheel at the time of the accident. Ruppelt was arrested and faces charges under -23152(a) CVC DUI (Alcohol) and -23152(b) CVC DUI Alcohol/>0.08 Percent.
Following the incident, Ruppelt was taken to a local sobering facility, and she was later released on a criminal citation.
