Patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting at Townsend Avenue and Park Entrance Drive, discovering an adult male victim with gunshot wounds, as reported by the San José Police Department.
The unidentified victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the Homicide Unit is now leading the inquiry into the incident. However, the motive and circumstances have not yet been made clear. The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office will release the victim's identity after the relevant family has been notified.
