Today, a couple seated in their vehicle on the 100 block of Faywood Court were assaulted. As reported by the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the assailant, after requesting a cigarette and being denied, punched the 41-year-old male and cut him with a knife.

The suspect, identified as 52-year-old Terry Lamont White of Pasadena, Maryland, fled the scene but later broke into a nearby apartment through a window. Confronted by a 44-year-old resident, a struggle ensued, during which the resident managed to subdue the intruder but suffered knife wounds to his arm and torso.

The police, who arrested White, found that he had outstanding arrest warrants. Both victims of the assault were transported to area hospitals, and their injuries were not life-threatening.
