A Silver Alert has been issued for Catherine Chiulli, a 76-year-old Riverbank woman reported missing by her daughter, Tracy Bower. Chiulli was last seen on September 19, and concerns for her welfare led to Bower filing a missing person's report on the evening of September 23, Riverbank Police Services detailed in their Facebook page.
Initial investigations have found that Chiulli's vehicle, a grey 2013 Nissan Rogue with a disabled California plate DP225XE, was last seen traveling in Hanford, CA. Local law enforcement has been painstakingly scouring the area to comprehensively search for Chiulli's car, yet as of this writing, neither Chiulli nor her car have been discovered. The California Highway Patrol has been contacted to quickly establish a Silver Alert based on the circumstances surrounding Chiulli's disappearance, as reported by the Riverbank Police Services.
Catherine Chiulli is described as a white female adult with short white hair and blue eyes. Standing approximately 5'5" tall and weighing 180 lbs, she was last seen wearing grey pants, a white t-shirt, and white shoes. The Riverbank Police Services and the Chiulli family are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward and ensure that she is safely found. "If you see Chiulli or her vehicle, please call 911," urged the department in their public statement. But if someone wants to remain anonymous while providing potentially crucial information, they are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at (209) 521-4636.
