"I was working and I heard a loud noise, and I just saw the crane collapse and I saw the guy just hitting the ground," Sergio Re described in an interview with WHDH. His account was confirmed by aerial footage taken from the outlet's news helicopter, which revealed the extent of the scene with debris scattered around the damaged cherry picker and police tape cordoning off the area.
