If you're planning a serene day on the water at Square Lake this weekend, you might want to recalibrate your compass. Square Lake Park's boat launch is out of commission on Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8 because it's triathlon time.
That's right, athletes are taking over, and the boat launch is officially closed for the event, according to a Washington County notice. The temporary closure might be a hassle for boaters, but it's a chance to appreciate the athleticism on display.
"Check out Big Marine Park Reserve down the road for all of your boating and fishing needs," as stated by Washington County, Minnesota.
