
A home invasion in the Greater Ville neighborhood on Tuesday evening has left a woman and her child shaken after being held at gunpoint. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. in the 3300 block of Aubert, according to the St. Louis Police Department's District 6. The report stated that the 37-year-old victim opened her door to a knock, only to be forcibly pushed inside by three male suspects.
The assailants, described as armed and dangerous, held the woman and her child at gunpoint while they searched the home. In a statement to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the victim shared her experience of watching the intruders take her belongings before they fled the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported after the incident.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police are currently conducting an investigation to catch the suspects. The department has not released descriptions of the suspects or the stolen property at this time, citing the ongoing investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
