
A suspect was taken into custody in connection to a shooting that occurred in North Baltimore on Tuesday night, as reported by the Baltimore Police Department. According to Fox Baltimore, officers from the Northern District Action Team were on patrol at around 10:32 p.m. when they were approached by a 25-year-old man, a victim of a gunshot wound, near Greenspring Avenue and Druid Park Drive.
Following a tip from the victim, detectives were actively looking to locate the alleged shooter in the area. A preliminary investigation pointed to the shooting occurring in the 3500 block of Greenspring Avenue. Ultimately, the efforts of the detectives led to swiftly finding and arresting the unidentified male suspect and also to recover a handgun, as reported by Baltimore Witness.
The injured man received medical attention and was transported by medics to a local hospital for treatment of his injury. Meanwhile, Northern District Shooting detectives have officially taken over the investigation into the incident's circumstances.
