The incident took place on September 23rd, just minutes before midnight when the 16-year-old male offender was apprehended in the vicinity of the 0-100 block of W. 95th St. Following an earlier altercation on a CTA platform located in the 100 block of W. 35th St., the teen was pinpointed as one of the culprits who forcefully took property from an 18-year-old male victim.
In the wake of the events, the juvenile, whose identity remains shielded by privacy laws, is due to face a detention hearing at the Juvenile Court at 1100 S. Hamilton. Running into the law's arms sometime around 11:52 p.m., the young suspect was placed into custody and subsequently charged.
