
A violent encounter in central Phoenix over the weekend has left a community shaken and searching for answers. In an incident occurring near 13th and Van Buren Streets around midnight on Sept. 21, three teenagers were shot. As reported by FOX 10 Phoenix, one of the teens succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at a hospital. The other two victims are said to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
On Sept. 23, the Phoenix Police disclosed the arrest of a teenage suspect in connection with the shooting. The young individual has been booked into a juvenile corrections center and stands accused of murder and aggravated assault, as AZ Family reported.
The exact circumstances leading to the tragic incident are still under investigation, and the identities of both the victims and the accused have not been made public yet.
