Three individuals, including two minors, were arrested in Roslindale late last night amid a police response to reported armed suspects, according to the Boston Police Department. At approximately 11:15 PM on September 3, officers were dispatched to the 120 Brookway Road area after a 911 call indicated that several individuals had exited a vehicle carrying firearms.

The Boston Police specified that officers arriving on the scene saw a group of males fitting the caller's description. An attempt to flee was made by the suspects when they noted law enforcement presence, initiating a pursuit. During the chase, officers witnessed one suspect holding a weapon and subsequently recovering a firearm after the individual's capture as he scaled a fence. A vehicle associated with the suspects was later found empty by additional force members in the Downtown/Charlestown area and was towed for investigation purposes.

Further inquiries by the police resulted in the arrest of two other suspects, ages 16 and 14, near 25 Colegate Road. They found an additional two firearms along the path of the fleeing suspects. According to the police report, the firearms included a Walther PPK, a Ghost Gun, and a Lurcin I-380, all with rounds in their chambers and additional ammunition in their magazines.

The juvenile suspects are facing numerous charges, including unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, with the older of the two also charged with unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device. Benjamin Pineda, 18, from Charlestown, is confronting similar adult charges for the same incident. All parties are expected to be arraigned at West Roxbury District Court, marking a somber reminder of the gun-related challenges faced by communities and law enforcement alike.
