Earlier today, a shooting occurred in Atlanta, leaving three people injured. The Atlanta Police Department reports that officers responded to 2555 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW after reports came through of multiple individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. The incident took place around 2:05 a.m., according to a press release from the Atlanta Police Department.
Two victims, a 28-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were found at the scene by police and subsequently transported to a local hospital. They are both listed in stable condition. During their investigation, authorities learned of a third victim, a 36-year-old man who was wounded in the same shooting but had independently sought medical treatment at an area hospital. He too was reported to be in stable condition.
The preliminary inquiry into the violent event suggests that the shooting was the result of an altercation that broke out inside the establishment. However, specific details regarding what provoked the fight or the identification of any suspects involved have not been released.
