Union City prepares for its 11th Annual Breast Cancer 5K and Color Run. On October 12, residents will unite in running, walking, and rallying for breast cancer awareness. The event invites everyone, regardless of their pace or running experience.
Starting at 5047 Union Street, the race commences at 9:00 a.m. Mayor Vince R. Williams, in a statement obtained by unioncityga.org, captured the essence, “Through events like our Breast Cancer 5K Color Run, we unite to honor survivors, remember those we've lost, and stand united in the fight for a cure”.
Live music will energize participants across the finish line. Union City is making the day even more memorable for those who join the fight against breast cancer, offering complimentary t-shirts and goodies for participants, while supplies last.
