A domestic argument in the 4600 block of S. Broadway escalated into a shooting late Monday night, resulting in a 19-year-old woman being critically injured. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported that the incident occurred around 11 p.m.
During the argument, the teen and her mother, they were reportedly arguing with their 74-year-old grandfather. Following the argument, it is claimed that he retrieved a firearm and opened fire, striking his granddaughter in the head while her mother emerged without physical harm, as reported by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
