A 20-year-old man from Marshall, Michigan, lost his life following a motorcycle accident last night on Interstate 94. The incident occurred when Michigan State Police troopers, stationed at the Marshall Post, spotted the young man's motorcycle, which was devoid of a registration plate, traveling eastbound on the freeway shortly before 8 p.m., as reported by the WZZM13.
The troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop by activating their emergency lights alongside the motorcycle. However, "the motorcycle sped up and continued running on eastbound I-944," as per the details provided by the MSP Fifth District.

The young man's attempt to evade the traffic stop led to him entering heavy traffic near the Interstate 69 interchange, where to split lanes between cars, he collided with the front of another passenger car. This impact caused him to lose control and be ejected from the motorcycle, subsequently being struck by oncoming traffic. Officials pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene, and no other injuries were reported, as stated by Battle Creek Enquirer.
