After a reported robbery late last night, a 40-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were confronted by two masked gunmen demanding their belongings. The incident occurred around 11:50 p.m. in the 1200 block of Hodiamont as the victims were about to enter their apartment. The suspects quickly announced the robbery and forcibly took car keys and other property from the pair, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
The victims, who were unharmed, complied with the demands and gave up their belongings, including the keys to their 2007 Volkswagen. The suspects then drove off with the vehicle, which was parked nearby. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported that District 5 officers are leading the investigation to find the suspects.
