An Atlanta man, identified as 36-year-old Daniel Hollis Sajewski, found himself in cuffs at a DeKalb County gas station after deputies, acting on outstanding warrants, arrested him on charges of family violence and drug possession. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, Sajewski had warrants for multiple felonies, including battery family violence, aggravated battery, and aggravated sexual battery.
During his arrest, which occurred on Briarcliff Road, DeKalb County officers uncovered a considerable quantity of illegal substances in Sajewski's vehicle. Hidden within trash bags, officers found six pounds of marijuana among other substances, leading to additional charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, as detailed by WSB-TV. Complications arose when Sajewski reportedly injured himself while attempting to resist arrest, necessitating medical attention.
