Attention Atlanta commuters: a section of Marietta Street NW will experience a traffic pattern shift. The ATLDOT has announced that starting tomorrow, Marietta Street NW between North Avenue NW and Peachtree Street NW will undergo ADA ramp upgrades and sidewalk repairs, as reported by ATLDOT.
Travelers should anticipate extra travel time in the area. These changes will be in effect on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until the project is completed in mid to late December. One side of the sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians, allowing foot traffic to navigate alongside vehicles and public transportation. To minimize the impact on local traffic, enforcement officers will be present to assist with traffic control.
