According to a community alert issued by the BPD, the event occurred last Thursday at roughly 1:55 PM near 62 Magnolia Street. The suspect reportedly broke into a vehicle and brandished a knife when confronted by the owner before fleeing the scene on a bicycle.
Detectives from District B-2 are gathering details surrounding the case. The individual they are looking to identify is described as a black Hispanic male, outfitted in a red hat, black jacket, light blue jeans, and carrying a black backpack. His decision to flee in the direction of Quincy St left the authorities and community members on alert.
In their efforts to bring the suspect to justice, the Boston Police Department is reviewing all available evidence.
