Residents of Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Crystal, and New Hope looking to declutter their homes have an opportunity to dispose of their unwanted scrap metal, electronics, and other recyclables at a special drop-off event. This semi-annual event is set to occur at the Brooklyn Park Operations and Maintenance Building, located at 8300 Noble Avenue N, as detailed by the City of Brooklyn Park.

On Saturday, October 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., community members can stop by to drop off their acceptable items, according to the City of Brooklyn Park. To ensure a smooth process, the event coordinators have provided a list of accepted items and are advising residents to check it before attending. As an added service, there will also be the option for free on-site paper shredding for confidential documents that residents might want to securely dispose of. Moreover, participants are reminded not to bring general garbage, as the event is strictly for recyclable goods.

Interested residents are encouraged to visit the Brooklyn Park website for more information on the event and to access the Accepted Items list.
