Get ready to don your witch hats and superhero capes, Chanhassen – the city's 40th annual Halloween Party is just around the corner. This family-friendly spooktacular is taking over the Chanhassen Recreation Center on October 26th, promising an evening filled with more treats than tricks. A heads-up to you planners and early birds: the event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and wraps up the ghostly proceedings at 7 p.m.
There will be enough candy to rot the teeth and games to keep the little ghouls and goblins entertained. Plus, as announced by the City of Chanhassen in its Facebook post, there will be a live children's comedy show by A Touch of Magic Entertainment for All Ages, sure to keep everyone cackling from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Take note that this delight will cost you $6 per child, but adults and tiny tots aged one or younger get a free pass. Thanks to the South Lake Agency Insurance Brokers, who are playing fairy godparent by sponsoring the event.
