Homan Ave., struck down by a hit-and-run driver behind the wheel of what might be a Nissan Maxima, according to a Chicago Police Department community alert. The vehicle involved is described as silver with a contrasting black roof and has reportedly sustained significant damage to its windshield, left mirror, and left-front bumper; it was last observed heading northbound on South Homan Avenue.
Local authorities are actively seeking information on the incident which occurred at 12:11 a.m., and they encourage anyone with knowledge about the crash or the whereabouts of the damaged vehicle to come forward.
