This weekend, local law enforcement and community members banded together for a series of gatherings known as Faith & Blue Weekend of Service and Connection. The collaborative events were designed to reinforce community ties through shared service and dialogue.
According to the Saint Paul Police Department, the weekend was packed with various activities where police officers joined residents in community clean-ups, organized car seat clinics, and made service visits. As the weekend wrapped up, a final prayer lunch was held to conclude the day's events and reinforce the bonds formed.
"Thank you to our community for letting us into their religious homes," the Saint Paul Police Department expressed. They continued, "We agree--strong communities are built by making meaningful, lasting connections."
