The Concord Police Department has apprehended a suspect in a distressing case of child molestation and sexual assault. The suspect, 47-year-old Emilio Martinez-Alarcon, was arrested by the Special Victims Unit last Wednesday following allegations involving multiple victims, all under the age of 14. In an announcement shared on their Facebook page, the Concord Police Department provided details of the charges filed against Martinez-Alarcon, including aggravated sexual assault of a child and multiple counts of lewd acts on a child.
According to the Concord Police Department, the District Attorney's Office has charged Martinez-Alarcon with PC 269(a)(1) and PC 269(a)(4) for aggravated sexual assault of a child, three counts of PC 288(b)(1) for forcible lewd acts on a child, and six counts of PC 288(a) for lewd acts on a child. Currently held on $11,000,000 bail, Martinez-Alarcon remains in custody as the investigation continues. The authorities, suspecting that he may have molested additional victims who have yet to come forward, have released his booking photo and are urging others with information to step forward.
