Tragedy struck the Kingsway East neighborhood early on September 19 when a shooting resulted in the deaths of two men. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call around 3:20 a.m. in the 1600 block of N. Kingshighway. Upon arrival, they found the victims, later identified as 42-year-old Marshun White of St. Ann and 34-year-old Marcus Price of St. Louis, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department's official release, emergency medical services were called to the scene but pronounced White and Price dead upon arrival. While investigators are trying to understand the events leading to their deaths, the motive and circumstances of the shooting remain unclear.
