Attention commuters and local residents: The full road closure on Livingstone Place will now remain in effect through November 30. Travelers between East College Avenue and Craigie Avenue should plan for an alternate route.
The extended closure of Livingstone Place is a result of the Scott Boulevard Water Main Replacement Project Phase III. Construction crews are currently engaged in work that has taken longer than initially anticipated. According to DeKalb County's announcement, this extension is necessary to continue the water main replacement efforts.
While the road is closed, motorists should expect delays. Local traffic is being managed with precautionary signs and traffic flaggers in place to direct vehicles safely around the construction zone. This is intended to minimize disruption while ensuring the safety of both workers and drivers.
For more information about the work causing this extended disruption, detailed updates are available on the DWM's dedicated project page. You can also reach out directly via the DWM Project Information Line at 1-800-986-1108 or email [email protected].
