
Tragedy struck early Sunday morning in Northwest El Paso when a vehicle collided with a pedestrian, resulting in one fatality. According to KFOX-TV, The incident occurred at 6501 South Desert Blvd, with the El Paso Fire Dispatch receiving the call at 5:29 a.m.
The identity of the deceased has not been released by law enforcement, and investigators are currently working to determine the causes behind the fatal encounter. As reported by KVIA, Special traffic investigators have been called to the scene to analyze the situation.
This incident led to significant traffic disruptions, with all lanes of traffic along South Desert Blvd before Artcraft being closed for over four hours. It was around 11 a.m. when the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced that roads had reopened, as noted by KTSM. As of now, this continues to be a developing story.
