A recent collision on the intersecting roads of Interstate 10 and Franklin Avenue has resulted in a fatality, as confirmed by the New Orleans Police Department. The incident which took place in the early hours of the morning yesterday, was reported at approximately 5:21 a.m., according to WDSU. The adult victim of the crash was declared deceased at the scene by emergency services.

Investigators found that the person who died was driving west on I-10 before the crash.
