According to an announcement from the City of Germantown, a creative crosswalk installation is planned for the intersection of Farmington and Wolf River Boulevards. The crosswalk art project, outlined on the town's website, will result in lane closures this weekend. It began yesterday, with westbound traffic needing to navigate around the work zone from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Today, eastbound lanes will be closed during the same hours, affecting those traveling through the area.

Grinder, Taber & Grinder, a local construction company, is overseeing the installation and managing traffic control. The firm aims to minimize disruption on the roads while prioritizing safety for both pedestrians and motorists. The town advises commuters to plan their routes in advance and follow posted detour signs to avoid delays and confusion.
