A collision involving two vehicles on 250th Avenue near Nature Road resulted in injuries for one local resident, the Morrison County Sheriff's Office reports. The incident, which unfolded approximately seven miles east of Royalton, MN in Buckman Township, occurred on October 26, as reported by Morrison County.

The Sheriff’s Office received a call at 4:39 pm about the accident, involving a 17-year-old male from Bowlus, MN, and 65-year-old Susan Boyd of Hoyt Lakes, MN, both of whom were traveling northward on 250th Avenue. In an unsettling turn, it was revealed through the Sheriff's Office that Boyd, driving behind the teenager, did not notice his vehicle's reduced speed. As a result, according to a Sheriff's Office report, Boyd was unable to halt her vehicle in time and subsequently collided with the juvenile's car on the road.

Subsequent to the crash, Boyd was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance, as noted by Morrison County. While the extent of her injuries remains undisclosed, the involvement of emergency services underscores the gravity of the situation.

Assisting at the chaotic scene were multiple emergency response units, including the Royalton Police Department and the MLMB First Response Team. They worked alongside the Mayo Clinic Ambulance to manage the aftermath of the collision and administer necessary aid.
