A Kingman man has lost his life following a severe accident involving his motorcycle and a pickup truck near Prescott. The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) reported to the scene of the crash at Williamson Valley Road and Granite Oaks Drive, near the Williamson Valley Trailhead, on Tuesday just before dusk. Tragedy struck not long before 5:30 P.M., culminating in a response that saw multiple deputies and off-duty paramedics joining forces in a bid to save the victim's life.
An off-duty paramedic, already delivering critical aid to the injured motorcyclist upon the deputies' arrival, only could watch as the 48-year-old man was transported to the hospital in critical condition. According to a news release posted on the YCSO website, the rider later succumbed to his injuries. Despite the swift action from first responders, the path of life for this individual from Kingman came to an abrupt end.
The collision’s aftermath left no physical harm upon the pickup truck's driver, who walked away from the incident unscathed.
