Kingsport Parks and Recreation is stepping up to serve an ace with a Pickleball Doubles Clinic designed to teach participants the ins and outs of one of America's fastest-growing sports. According to the City of Kingsport, this clinic is not just a run-of-the-mill sporting event, it's a chance to learn from the experts on tactics that could help you and your partner rule the court.
The session takes over the V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex gym, a known hub for local sports enthusiasts on November 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pickleball aficionados or those just struck by curiosity can step into the growing community that's been causing quite the racquet across the Tri-Cities. The cost is a cool $50 per person, but it packs in value with comprehensive training on strategies, positioning tips, and doubling down on, techniques for participants aged 16 and up.
If you're planning to attend, Kingsport is providing all the necessary equipment. Attendees with a preferred paddle can bring their own, ensuring comfort and a personal touch in mastering the sport. This event underscores pickleball's growing popularity, as it continues to lob its way into the hearts of competitive and recreational players alike.
