According to the victim's account, two assailants attacked him with a firearm around 1:55 P.M. yesterday, in an incident that saw him pistol-whipped, punched, and kicked as he lay on the ground.
As relayed by the victim, while walking along Jersey Ave N, the suspects forced him down before taking his property. After being brutalized by the suspects, they fled in a vehicle, leaving him on the cold asphalt, the victim said. The distressing scene, culminating in a theft, has prompted a police investigation, with officers arriving on scene shortly after the robbery was reported.
