In a recent development, an adult male was arrested in Lowell's Pawtucketville neighborhood in connection with a serious incident. According to a Facebook post by the Lowell Police Department, the arrest took place on Tuesday as part of a coordinated effort by the LPD Gang Unit.
The search of the detainee’s belongings revealed significant items related to his arrest. Officers discovered a loaded MC9 handgun, 25.04 grams of crack cocaine, and $4,665 in cash in his backpack.
The male acquired multiple charges, a ledger of alleged misdeeds: "Carrying a Firearm While Loaded," "Carrying a Firearm W/O A License," and "Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device." His purported crimes didn't stop at mere possession. Trafficking—in the realm over 18 grams and less than 36 grams of cocaine—stood among them, alongside "Use of a Firearm while Committing a Felony," "Resisting Arrest," "Assault and Battery Dangerous Weapon," "Intimidation of a Witness," and "Willful/Malicious Destruction of Property," resulting in a lengthy criminal record.
